Additional Information

We have a fantastic start location for our drive! The famous Carding Shed in Holmfirth. A unique trip down memory lane to a bygone era in a retro vintage themed experience in a magnificent former mill. Browse around the classic car display which echoes the nostalgic feel of the Goodwood Revival.

Breakfast is available at The Carding Shed before the drive. Please contact the cafe to book a table from 9am on 01484 680300.

The drive is probably the most scenic drive in England, taking in stunning scenery through Yorkshire and Derbyshire. Please be aware there are several very steep ascents and descents.

You will be given a hard copy of the drive directions before setting off. Bring your own clipboard and pen 👍🏻

If you don't partake in breakfast, there are many pubs along the route where you can enjoy brunch (please book your own table) including:

The Strines Inn

The Ladybower Inn

The Yorkshire Bridge

The Old Hall, Hope

And many pubs in Castleton.

Don't forget to stop off at the top of Holme Moss for the obligatory selfie with your classic car with fantastic views over the Holme Valley.

Please note, although there is a finish location to the drive, there is no finish event.
