Additional Information

Hello Dashing Dapper Drivers.

Our drive this year will depart from the sublime beauty of the Old Deer Park Car Park (on the A316, opposite the Richmond Swimming Baths), Richmond TW9 2RA and conclude at Goodwood, Motor Circuit, Chichester PO18 0PH.

We meet at 8am and depart at 8.30. Early Sunday morning is the only time the streets of London are relatively clear. So it has to be an early start.

The drive itself will be about 2 1/2 hours. We are meeting in Richmond as it’s a convenient place to gather many cars and is on the way towards our route, however please note, there are no tea, coffee or toilet facilities at the car park.

We head out to the M3/M25 motorways to get out of London quickly and then travel cross country through the back lanes of Surrey, including the famous Shere Hill Climb Road. The early morning drive through the quiet Surrey B roads will be rather fun. We head to Dunsfold Aerodrome (the Top Gear test track) where we will be hosted for tea and coffee by Ian Fisher (CEO) and his Staff at Reep Automotive.

Reep are specialists in protective coatings for precious classics to jaw-dropping colour changes for supercars. They create bespoke protection and enhancement packages for the UK’s most discerning car owners. Including Paint Protection Film (PPF), Ceramic Coating, Detailing, Wrapping, Windscreen Protection and will have cars on display.

After Dunsfold we continue to our destination - the famous Goodwood Motor Circuit! Upon arrival we will do a few parade laps and then settle in the paddocks. Several other drives will be arriving about the same time as us so there will be plenty of cars to see and people to meet. It will be an exciting day indeed!
