7:50 – Brief Opening remarks.
8:00 - Start your engines! We have to be prompt, our 9am stop at the bridge is a timed entry.
8:20 – It’s Electric, Neon Sign Park - 1300 19th Street Granite City, IL
Area Neon signs and murals local to the area on Route66. Great photo opportunity.

A tribute to every “blue-collar worker”. This is a drive-by, no parking available for groups.

9-11:00- Old Chain of Rocks Bridge – Madison/Granite City, IL
It’s hard to forget a 30-degree turn midway across a mile-long bridge more than 60 feet above the mighty Mississippi. For more than three decades, the bridge was a significant landmark for travelers driving Route 66. We have secured a special use permit to travel roundtrip from IL side to MO and back. National Register of Historic Places

11:00-12 – Travel via Poag Road, through Edwardsville, IL to Hamel, IL for a sponsor provided lunch.

3 – 4 – Return to Belleville area via Route 4 through Lebanon, IL – Avoids 159 stop and go traffic
